Package Itinerary
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning and transfer to respective hotel and rest till afternoon. In the afternoon proceed for harbour cruise. Late evening witness the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Over night stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.
After breakfast, start off for a full- day excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breathtaking spectacle. Please carry your lunch pack, drinking water & changing dress. After North Bay, Visit Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia, was nick named the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Evening, visit the Corbyns Cove Beach - 7 kms from Port Blair - a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming, sun-basking & bathing. Over night stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.
Today, we start our journey towards Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair Harbour. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the resort proceed to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), the Times Magazine rated the finest beach among the best beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach.
Trip to Kalapathar Beach. Overnight at Havelock Island.Today’s beach in the picture is Kala Pathar beach which is about 6-8 kms away from Dolphin resort. Kala Pathar beach is a relatively small yet lovely beach. Silvery sand and aqua green waters make the place exotic and exquisite. The beach, honestly is no where close to Radhanagar beach but nevertheless it is a beautiful place to visit. Sadly, there are no eco huts or shade with benches to sit so the best idea is to carry a hammock, tie it around a tree on the beach, lay down in the hammock and enjoy the view or read your favorite author. You can spot dead corals on the beach which is why it is not too suitable for swimming but sitting on one of these corals and watching the sun rise in the morning or just inhaling the fresh breeze blowing over the sea is an experience in itself. The beach lies next to a village called Kala Pathar and hence the name. It lies towards the end of the road that takes you from Dolphin resort to Kala Pathar. Most of the tourists come to Havelock, visit Radhanagar and leave. Thus, Kala Pathar sees very few tourists as compared to Radhanagar. So, if you are looking for solitude, this is the place in Havelock.
After breakfast, we andElephanta Island. After noon we proceed back towards Port Blair (via ferry) and overnight stay at Port Blair.
After Breakfast, we take you for the tour of Port Blair city which covers Chatham saw mill (the oldest and biggest mill in Asia), Forest Museum, Mini Zoo,Samundrika (Naval Marine Museum), Aquarium (Fisheries Museum), Science Centre, Gandhi Park, Marina Park, Andaman Water Sports Complex. HARBOUR CRUISE (Viper Island) : Afternoon, we proceed for a cruise of harbour, the panoramic view of seven points from sea ie; harbour, floating docks, etc including a trip to Viper Island the place of execution. Shopping : At evening, we proceed to Sagarika ( the Govt. Emporium of Handcraft) and local market for shopping.
