Welcome to Awesome Assam. Upon reaching Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to Shillong, which is often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." The distance between Guwahati and Shillong is approximately 100 kilometers, and the journey takes around 3 hours. On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit Umiam Lake, a beautiful and serene lake surrounded by picturesque hills. Check in to your hotel and Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast check out from the Hotel. Start your day early, ideally around 7:00 AM, from Shillong. Drive towards Dawki, which is approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Shillong. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Visit the famous Dawki Bridge, which is known for its crystal-clear waters and offers stunning views. You can also take a short boat ride on the Umngot River to experience the clear waters. After exploring Dawki, head towards Mawlynnong, which is about 25 kilometers (15 miles) away from Dawki. Mawlynnong is known as "Asia's Cleanest Village" and is a picturesque place to visit. You can explore the living root bridge and enjoy the lush green surroundings. Later Depart from Mawlynnong and continue your journey to Cherrapunjee, which is approximately 90 kilometers (56 miles) away. The drive can take around 2-3 hours. Arrive in Cherrapunjee in the evening. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
After breakfast, Visit - Wah-Kaba Falls,Mawsawa Falls, Prut Waterfall, Lyngksiar Falls, Janailar Falls, seven siater falls, Arwha cave, Mawsmai cave, Nokhalikai falls, eco park over night stay at Cherrapunjee.
Early morning proceed for boating in crystal clear waters of Umngot river. After breakfast head to Shillong via Jaintia hills. On the way visit Krangsuri and Phe Phe waterfalls. On arrival check in and evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Post breakfast, check out, proceed to Guwahati, visit Kamakhya temple and drop at the airport / Railway Station. Tour ends.
