The Indian Gate in New Delhi, was part of the work of the Imperial War Graves Commission (IWGC), which, came into existence in May 1917 for building war graves and memorials of soldiers killed in the First World War. Qutub Minar
The Qutb Minar was commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan of Delhi, and was completed by his successor - Iltutmish. It is not known whether the tower was named after Qutb-ud-din Aibak or Qutbuddin Bhaktiyar Kaki, a famous Sufi saint who was living in Delhi contemporarily. According to the inscriptions on its surface it was repaired by Firoz Shah Tughlaq (AD 1351–89) and Sikandar Lodi (AD 1489–1517).
Humayun Tomb : Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife Bega Begum (Haji Begum) in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by Bega Begum. After his death on 20 January 1556, Humayun's body was first buried in his palace in Purana Quila at Delhi. 1556 and captured Purana Quila, will damage the tomb.
Lotus Temple : Since its inauguration to public worship in December 1986, the Bahá'í House of Worship in Delhi has, as of late 2002, attracted more than 50 million visitors, making it one of the most visited buildings in the world. Its numbers of visitors during those years surpassed those of the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal. On Hindu celebrative days and holy days, it has drawn as many as 150,000 people in one day.

Raj ghat : Raj Ghat is primarily a twelve by twelve feet square platform which is made up of black marble. This platform represents the place where Mahatma Gandhi’s last rites were performed on the next day of his assassination, i.e. on 31st January 1948. Since then it has been a tradition for all the Indian and foreign dignitaries to offer their respect at the Ghat on all the important occasions. All guests are required to remove their footwear before entering Raj Ghat as a mark of respect.
Jama Majid : It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, and inaugurated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Situated in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857.
Red Fort : Red Fort in Delhi was built when Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan decided to shift the capital of Mughal regime from Agra city to Delhi.
Akshardham Temple :Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu temple, and spiritual-cultural campus in Delhi, India. The temple is close to the border with Noida. Also referred to as Akshardham Temple or Akshardham Delhi, the complex displays millennia of traditional and modern Hindu culture, spirituality, and architecture.

Emperor Shah Jahan, who had built the Taj, was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb in the Agra Fort where he had a view of the building erected for his deceased wife. Itmad ud daulah fort ( Mini Taj )
Nicknamed the Baby Taj, the exquisite tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg should not be missed. This Persian nobleman was Mumtaz Mahal’s grandfather and Emperor Jehangir’s wazir (chief minister). His daughter Nur Jahan, who married Jahangir, built the tomb between 1622 and 1628 in a style similar to the tomb she built for Jehangir near Lahore in Pakistan.

Jantar Mantar - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
Hawa Mahal - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

City Place It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The palace was built between 1729 and 1732, initially by Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber.
