Facilities
Deluxe Suites are A/C accommodations with well-designed interiors and surrounded by greenery all around. The beautiful surroundings of Somatheeram and the spectacular view of the sea can be enjoyed from this room. These houses are luxuriously built with a Kerala touch, making it exceptional. The prompt services, first-class amenities and a relaxing and tranquil environment are sure to make your holiday, most memorable.
These are A/C rooms with a splendid view of the sea, 24 hour room services and superior luxury and comfort. Built as per the principles of ancient architecture, Somatheeram�s Kerala House Deluxe combines magnificence, tradition and ambiance. The plentiful use of dark wood throughout the house and the wooden armchairs, beds and other furniture gives the house a rich and striking appearance.
Garden cottages are cozy and give the occupant a homely atmosphere and the chance to build an intimacy with the ambiance of Somatheeram. There are beautiful gardens in front of the cottages, which is the perfect place to spend a lazy day close to nature. Rectangular or circular in plan, garden cottages are non A/C accommodation facilities, built with local materials and properly ventilated for maximum air flow. Most of the rooms provide hammocks for the occupants. Designed for double occupancy, garden cottages could accommodate a third person on client�s request.
Built with natural materials such as mud and bricks, special cottages have a great view of the sea so that the occupants can enjoy the scenic beauty of Somatheeram throughout their stay. These non A/C accommodations are mostly circular in plan and have thatched roofs. Although designed for double occupancy, an extra bed will be provided to accommodate a third person if required.
Somatheeram�s Kerala Houses or Arappura are great options for a perfect holiday with its traditional looks, luxurious facilities and an excellent view of the sea. Proportioned and positioned in such a way as to give maximum comfort to occupants, Kerala Houses are typical structures built on the basis of Vastu Shastra, the architectural principles developed by maestros of ancient times. Living in Arappura is one-of-a-kind experience which makes one marvel at the depth of knowledge and insight that these ancient architects possessed.
Standard rooms are non A/C rooms with all facilities and luxuries to cater to every need. They usually form part of a rectangular/ circular building which has 3 or 4 rooms which are rented separately. The rooms are properly ventilated and most of them provide hammocks for its occupants. There is no sea view from these rooms.
