🙏 Amarnath Yatra – A Pilgrimage of Faith and Devotion

The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most revered and ancient pilgrimages in India, attracting lakhs of devotees every year to the serene Amarnath Cave, located in the Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir. This sacred cave is home to the naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam, symbolizing Lord Shiva, and holds immense religious significance for Hindus.

🗻 The Legend of Amarnath

As per Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva revealed the secret of immortality (Amar Katha) to Goddess Parvati in the secluded Amarnath Cave. To ensure no other being heard this secret, he left behind all his divine companions—including Nandi the bull, the moon, the snake, and even his son Ganesha—before entering the cave.
